This silky, buttery terrine is made from premium duck foie gras, carefully seasoned and slowly cooked to achieve the perfect texture. Served with our house-made fig and Sauternes compote, toasted brioche, and a sprinkle of fleur de sel. Each bite is a journey to the heart of French gastronomy, representing the pinnacle of culinary luxury at Ici et Là.
Ingredients
Premium duck foie gras, Sauternes wine, Cognac, sea salt, white pepper, dried figs, sugar, fresh thyme, house-made brioche.
Preparation
The foie gras is carefully deveined and marinated overnight in Sauternes and Cognac. Slowly cooked in a water bath to achieve the perfect silky texture, then pressed and chilled for 48 hours before serving.
